Eri Blossom is a Japanese-born, NYC-based singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer bringing her own Japanese flavor to R&B and Hip-Hop.
Moving fluidly between Japanese and English, soulful vocals and bold rap flows, Eri blends the music that shaped her with the culture she grew up in. The result is a sound and visual world where Japanese tradition meets contemporary R&B and Hip-Hop, colorful, energetic, and unapologetically individual.
Born and raised in Japan, Eri developed a love for music at an early age. Growing up listening to artists including Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, TLC, Tupac, and Janet Jackson, she became deeply influenced by R&B and Hip-Hop before moving to Tokyo to pursue music and perform in the city’s nightclub scene.
A trip to New York would eventually change the course of her life. While in NYC, Eri studied with Sheila Raye Charles, daughter of Ray Charles, and began performing on the streets of the city. Connecting with strangers from different backgrounds through music gave her a new sense of possibility and freedom—and ultimately inspired her to make New York home.
After relocating to NYC, Eri earned a degree in Jazz Studies from the City College of New York and honed her craft through the city’s live music and open-mic scene, including performances at Village Underground and Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar. Since then, she has continued building her presence across New York, performing at JAPAN Fes and performed at Anime NYC’s Official Friday Afterparty at HK Hall.
Through those experiences, Eri began building an artistic identity that didn’t ask her to choose between Japan and New York, singing and rapping, tradition and experimentation.
So she didn’t. She made them all her own.
Today, Japanese culture, stories, sounds, and imagery run through Eri’s music and visual world. But underneath it all is something universal: the freedom to express who you truly are—and have a damn good time doing it.
That philosophy comes alive onstage. Eri doesn’t want people to simply stand there and watch. She wants them dancing, singing, getting loud, laughing, and becoming part of the experience. For a little while, forget what anyone else thinks. Let loose. Have fun. Be you.
Because Eri Blossom doesn’t create music to tell people who they should become.
She creates experiences that remind them who they already are.

Eri Blossomは、日本生まれ・ニューヨークを拠点に活動するシンガー、ラッパー、ソングライター、プロデューサー。R&BとHip-Hopを軸に、自分だけの日本のフレーバーをミックスした音楽を発信している。
日本語と英語、ソウルフルな歌声と大胆なラップを自由に行き来しながら、自分を育てた音楽と日本人としてのルーツを融合。日本の伝統や文化と現代のR&B、Hip-Hopが交差する、カラフルでエネルギッシュ、そして何ものにも縛られない世界を作り上げている。
日本で生まれ育ち、幼い頃から音楽に親しんだEri。Chaka Khan、Whitney Houston、TLC、Tupac、Janet Jacksonなどの音楽に触れながら、R&BとHip-Hopから大きな影響を受ける。その後、本格的に音楽活動を始めるため東京へ移り、都内のクラブシーンを中心にパフォーマンス経験を積んだ。
そして、ニューヨークとの出会いが彼女の人生を大きく変える。
ニューヨーク滞在中、Ray Charlesの娘であるSheila Raye Charlesから指導を受ける機会に恵まれ、同時にストリートパフォーマンスを開始。バックグラウンドの異なる人々と音楽ひとつでつながっていく経験から、それまでにない可能性と自由を感じ、ニューヨークへの移住を決意した。
移住後はCity College of New YorkでJazz Studiesの学士号を取得。Village UndergroundやAshford & Simpson’s Sugar Barなど、ニューヨークのライブ／オープンマイクシーンで経験を積みながら、自身の音楽性を磨いていった。その後も活動の場を広げ、JAPAN Fesへの出演を重ね、Anime NYC Official Friday Afterparty at HK Hallへの出演。
そんな経験を重ねる中でEriが見つけたのは、日本かニューヨーク、歌かラップ、伝統か新しい表現か, どれか一つを選ぶ必要なんてないということ。
だったら全部、自分のものにすればいい。
現在のEri Blossomの音楽とビジュアルには、日本文化や物語、サウンド、イメージがさまざまな形で息づいている。でも、その根っこにあるものはとてもシンプル。
本当の自分を、恐れずに表現すること。そして、思いっきり楽しむこと。
その哲学はライブでも変わらない。Eriが作りたいのは、ただステージを眺めるだけの空間じゃない。踊って、歌って、声を上げて、笑って、観客自身もその瞬間の一部になる場所。
ほんの少しの間でも、人の目なんて忘れてしまえばいい。
踊って。騒いで。楽しんで。
